REVIVE Summer

Revive partners with local Methodist and multi-denominational churches in offering Spirit-filled, Jesus-centered week-long Christian summer camps for Elementary, Junior High, and High School students in grades 3rd-12th. Our purpose is to help students discover, deepen, and develop their relationship with Jesus Christ.

WALL SHAKERS PRAYER WORKSHOP

Prayer is essential to the DNA of the MidTexas Conference of the Global Methodist Church. Jesus himself said that his House must be a House of Prayer (Matthew 21:13). We don’t just want to be churches that pray. We want to be known as the “Praying Church” in our community.  The Wall Shakers Workshop offers training for individuals and local churches to enhance their prayer lives and the effectiveness of prayer in the local church. Inspired by Acts 4:31, churches in the MidTexas Conference will experience an increase of infilling from the Holy Spirit and bold evangelism through the power of wall-shaking prayer.

DIRT ROADS RETREAT

Calling all rural and small-town pastors! We want to encourage and equip you in your ministry. The MidTexas Conference is partnering with Dirt Roads Network for a retreat at Camp Menard on May 21-22. The overnight stay is just $15 (bring your own bedding and toiletries), or the Menard County RV Park is right next door with various hookup options. We'll start at 12 pm on Thursday, May 21, and wrap up by 3 pm on Friday, May 22. Bishop Leah Gregory will bring the opening keynote message, teaching will be facilitated by Rev. Zach Kingery of Dirt Roads Network, and Rev. Larry Bass will lead worship. Make plans to join us for encouragement, fellowship, and strategic support for your ministry.

SAVE THE DATE: THE SOUND CONFERENCE

“Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.” Acts 2:2

The Sound Conference is a two-day gathering for young adults (18-35) filled with worship, prayer, and Spirit-led messages. The Sound exists to facilitate connection between local churches and, most importantly, a transformative encounter with the Holy Spirit.

The Sound Conference is hosted by The Branch Young Adult Ministry at Tyler Street Church, Dallas, TX, in partnership with the Mid-Texas Conference of the Global Methodist Church.

DISCIPLE MAKING MOVEMENT TRAINING

Learn and begin to practice the 7 elements of effective reproducing disciple making currently multiplying disciples all over the world. This training is offered through eight weekly Zoom sessions with lunchtime or evening options.  Follow-up video and handouts will be available for missed sessions.  There are weekly practice assignments outside of the Zoom time.
