SCRIPTURAL HOLINESS WITH BISHOP GREGORY
ZOOM WEBINAR ON MAY 20 AT 6:30 PM
The MidTexas Conference Superintendent, Bishop Gregory, will be offering an online learning based on "Spreading Scriptural Holiness." The Global Methodist Church's mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ and spread scriptural holiness across the globe." In February of 2025, the Assembly of Bishops released a video series with teaching on the historical and 'movemental' meaning behind our mission statement. Drawing from Dr. David Watson’s book Scripture and the Life of God as well as other resources, you will find a handout linked below that can be used in small groups for your churches.
This hour and a half online learning will be an interactive opportunity for the people in MidTexas to engage in discussion about the vital importance of our Biblical understanding of holiness and the great commission to make disciples of all the world. This opportunity is open to laity and clergy.

WALL SHAKERS PRAYER WORKSHOP
Prayer is essential to the DNA of the MidTexas Conference of the Global Methodist Church. Jesus himself said that his House must be a House of Prayer (Matthew 21:13). We don’t just want to be churches that pray. We want to be known as the “Praying Church” in our community. The Wall Shakers Workshop offers training for individuals and local churches to enhance their prayer lives and the effectiveness of prayer in the local church. Inspired by Acts 4:31, churches in the MidTexas Conference will experience an increase of infilling from the Holy Spirit and bold evangelism through the power of wall-shaking prayer. To register for an upcoming workshop or host a workshop at your church, email laurengreenyates@midtexasgmc.org.
