Ryan Barnett, Dave Roberson, and Carol Loeb will be hosting an information meeting via Zoom on March 20 at 7pm. We expect the meeting to take 45-60 minutes. You will learn more about what being a delegate requires, the security concerns involved in traveling, and get questions answered. Attending this meeting live on Zoom or watching the recording of it is required for lay and clergy who wish to apply to be considered for the MidTexas slate of delegates.

At its core, ME is about ministering to your spouse - the one God has entrusted to your care. Prayer is essential to the DNA of the Mid-Texas Conference of the Global Methodist Church. Jesus himself said that his House must be a House of Prayer (Matthew 21:13). We don’t just want to be churches that pray. We want to be known as the “Praying Church” in our community.  The Wall Shakers Workshop offers training for individuals and local churches to enhance their prayer lives and the effectiveness of prayer in the local church. Inspired by Acts 4:31, churches in the Mid-Texas Conference will experience an increase of infilling from the Holy Spirit and bold evangelism through the power of wall-shaking prayer.

This highly interactive and activity-focused workshop will use a discovery and modeling process to learn and practice four key elements of disciple making: Pray, Engage, Discover, and Plant. The workshop begins on Friday evening and continues from 8:30-4pm on Saturday. Part of the workshop will include forming teams to go out together into the community.
