Since 1998, I have been married to Rev. Kit Tomlinson, also an Elder in the Mid-Texas Conference. We are blessed with two high school aged children, True and Jedidiah. I have served in appointed pastoral ministry since 2005. I have had the blessing to pastor several places in my native Texas: San Marcos, San Antonio, Llano, Harker Heights, and Temple.  I began serving as Vice Chair of the Board of Ministry when the conference launched in November 2022. In January 2024, I was elected Chairwoman and am honored to lead an amazing team of lay and clergy leaders who guide those pursuing ministry in the Global Methodist Church.  I earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. I studied in the Living the Historic Faith cohort and researched a Christian theology of the human body. My Master of Divinity degree is from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky. My husband and I met and married at the Texas Tech Wesley Foundation in Lubbock, Texas. I finished my Bachelors Degree in French and Political Science at University of Texas at Arlington. It is such an honor to be a small part of a great movement of the Lord here in Mid-Texas!
